A social commitment that makes a difference: At Mercedes-Benz Used Parts & Services in Neuhausen auf den Fildern, social responsibility is not just a promise, but an integral part of our corporate culture. Since 1997, we have maintained a close partnership with "Neckartalwerktätten (NTW)" — a workshop for people with disabilities operated by Caritas Stuttgart e.V. Together, we advocate for an inclusive working environment, meaningful participation in the workforce, and sustainable value creation.

Inclusion that benefits people, business, and the environment

What started in 1997 with just four employees has grown into a strong and long-standing partnership. Today, between 12 and 15 NTW employees work regularly at our site, fully integrated into daily operations and directly assigned to their respective team leads. Their contributions are invaluable to us — both professionally and personally.

Typical tasks performed by NTW colleagues include:

Supporting truck and tire dismantling
Sorting and separating recyclable materials
Disassembling shock absorbers
Assisting in parts technology and shipping logistics
Vehicle cleaning and maintenance
Maintanance and organization of the company premises

25 years of successful cooperation — and still going strong

Our collaboration with Neckartal Workshops is based on trust, mutual respect, and genuine teamwork. It’s about more than just integration; it’s about meaningful participation in working life and making a valuable contribution to the circular economy. NTW employees are an integral part of our team — with clear responsibilities, tasks, and opportunities for development. We are proud to work together with Caritas Stuttgart and Neckartal Workshops to set a strong example for inclusion and sustainability. Our goal is to create a working environment where everyone can contribute their strengths and continue to grow.
