The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of your Mercedes-Benz can be found in your vehicle registration (registration certificate part I).

If you enter this in the search mask for wheels, we will only show you the items that fit your vehicle. If your vehicle has mixed tires – i.e., different tire sizes on the front and rear axles – there may be deviations in this VIN query. In this case, please contact us at +49 711 17 70000. Every car has a so-called "VIN". VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number. Previously and colloquially still often referred to as "chassis number". The VIN has 17 characters and consists of three parts: The beginning contains the manufacturer code and production country. WDD, for example, stands for Mercedes-Benz in Germany. The next part breaks down the series and model year as well as the engine and vehicle type. Based on the VIN, accessories as well as spare and component parts and, of course, wheels can be clearly and accurately assigned.

To find the right part for your vehicle, please contact our Service Center at usedparts@mercedes-benz.com or use our VIN search. Then we can check which part is the right one for your Mercedes-Benz based on the chassis number or VIN.
For example, your tires have the size 205/50R16 91V. "205" stands for the tire width in millimeters, "50" stands for the percentage height of the sidewall in relation to the tire tread. The "R" refers to the construction of your tire and means "Radial". The number "16" represents the inch size of the rims on which the tires are mounted. The "91" reflects the load index - that is, the maximum weight the tire can bear. The last letter on the tire "V" refers to the speed index.
A complete part is a part that is equipped as an assembly part with electronics. The single part, on the other hand, is delivered only as a raw construction in primed color. Complete parts are almost exclusively available at the Mercedes-Benz Used Parts Center. By ordering a complete part from MBGTC, you not only save money but also a considerable amount of time since you no longer have to assemble or paint your part. We offer complete parts for hoods, bumpers, or doors. For example, doors include window regulators, interior locks, trim, etc.
The tire speed index indicates the maximum speed a tire is approved for. It is indicated by the last letter in the tire size, e.g., by the "V" in 205/50R16 91V.

The M+S on your tires stands for Mud and Snow. Tires with this label are not suitable for winter operation. Since October 2024, the "Alpine symbol" is mandatory in Germany and marks approved winter tires.

Since 2014, according to ECE-R 64, all new cars must be equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that helps prevent accidents caused by incorrect tire pressure or slow punctures.

The quality classes provide information about possible signs of use, corrosion, scratches in the base material, discoloration due to brake dust, and an estimate of the reconditioning effort. You can find all the information here.

Wheel hub covers or wheel bolts are not included with the rims. You can order wheel covers separately from us, the range can be found here.

No. If you want to have your used part installed in a Mercedes-Benz specialist workshop, our partner workshops can help you. You can find all the information here.

No, we do not buy parts, wheels, tires, or rims.

The specified DOT number of the tires stands for "Department of Transportation", i.e., the manufacturing date and tire age. The four-digit number is embossed on the tire sidewall. The code includes the production week and the production year. The DOT number is therefore an important criterion when buying used and new tires. Example: A tire with DOT 1920 was produced in week 19 of the year 2020.

Sawtooth formation is an oblique wear of the tread blocks of the tire. These are usually located on the outer flanks of a tire. Sawtooth formation rarely affects driving behavior. Often, the formation of sawtooth is caused by incorrect tire pressures or misalignment of the axle settings on the vehicle. However, this is neutralized after a few kilometers when the tire pressure is corrected.

At high speeds on summer roads, winter tires are subjected to far higher thermal stress than summer tires. The treads of summer tires are equipped with a heat-resistant tread compound to withstand these extreme stresses.

If your vehicle has mixed tires – i.e., different tire sizes on the front and rear axles – please note that with certain combinations, the hit list may not be compatible with the VIN entry! This mainly affects hybrid vehicles, the T-model, as well as AMG packages or sport brake vehicles. Please contact our customer service for advice.

All new vehicles have been equipped with this system since 2014. Further information on whether a TPMS sensor is installed in the respective item can be found in the product description. Click on "Specification" for this. Here you will find the information TPMS sensor "Yes" or "No".
