Mercedes-Benz Used Parts & Services

Welcome to Mercedes-Benz Used Parts & Services.
460,000 used parts directly from the manufacturer.
Producing vehicles requires many materials — including valuable and limited natural resources. In addition to aiming to reduce emissions, Mercedes-Benz is equally committed to minimizing resource consumption throughout the entire product lifecycle. To achieve this, engineers and production teams are encouraged to consider a vehicle’s "second life" from the very beginning. Thanks to advanced disassembly and recycling strategies, fewer and fewer vehicle components end up being discarded today. Functional parts are removed and reused — creating a sustainable product lifecycle. In 1996, today’s Mercedes-Benz Group AG launched the first manufacturer-owned vehicle dismantling operation with Mercedes-Benz Used Parts & Services. Since then, this independently operated subsidiary with around 250 employees has dismantled several thousand Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles every year. After undergoing quality and functionality checks, the removed parts are stored and sold. This gives components a second chance and makes a valuable contribution to protecting our environment. After all, every time a used part replaces a new one, we conserve precious resources. That’s why the Mercedes-Benz Used Parts team inspects every vehicle with one goal in mind: reusing as many parts as possible.

How we work – From used vehicle to spare part
Our teams inspect and dismantle various Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles daily. Quality assurance is a top priority for parts such as engines, bumpers, doors, or hoods. Anything that does not meet our high standards and therefore cannot be stored is sent for recycling. We would like to outline the key steps of our process for you below:
On the road for recycling on behalf of the environment.
At Mercedes-Benz Used Parts & Services, people and the environment are clearly at the center of our focus. Reuse is the highest form of recycling – that’s why we give parts a second chance.
At Mercedes-Benz Used Parts & Services, we not only contribute to conserving resources and protecting the environment but also actively embrace inclusion and integration. Through an open culture built on trust and creativity, and by fostering collaboration across generations and nations, we aim to promote a welcoming and confident work environment where everyone feels comfortable.
Additionally, everyone is given the opportunity to grow within cross-functional teams. We want to learn from each other and build connections.
At Mercedes-Benz Group, we value the diversity of our employees. That’s why diversity and inclusion are integral parts of our corporate strategy, shaping a conscious approach to variety and individuality. For us as a company, this is the foundation for economic success.
Sustainability is a top priority for us
At the core of our mission—“marketing marketable spare parts”—we are fully committed to environmental protection in our operations. Following the waste hierarchy, we prioritize the reuse of components before recycling or energy recovery.
It is our passion to constantly challenge the concept of waste and transform it into a valuable resource that is actively reintegrated into the material cycle. Our goal is to turn our value chain into a value cycle: closing material loops, continuously improving the efficiency of our recycling processes, and increasing the share of recycled materials.
Mercedes-Benz Used Parts is certified under the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive according to Directive 2000/53/EC of the European Parliament and Council dated September 18, 2000, concerning end-of-life vehicles.

Internationally on the road for recycling.
To be available internationally and to always have enough parts in stock, we manage a large warehouse. Shipping is generally possible to countries within the European Union and the EFTA. Currently, we ship our spare parts to 36 countries and are continuously working to expand our delivery area.
Through our webshop, for example, we ship to Germany, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria, Poland, and Spain. You can view all the countries we currently ship to here.
